2025 INTERBATTERY

INTER BATTERY 2025, Korea’s largest battery industry exhibition, was successfully held at COEX in Seoul.
More than just an industry trade show, this exhibition serves as a crucial platform to witness the present and future of Korea’s battery industry.

Leading domestic companies such as LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, and SK On participated, alongside government agencies, research institutes, and global corporations from 13 countries including the United States, Japan, Chile, and Brazil. This firmly established the event as Asia’s largest battery business hub.

At INTER BATTERY 2025, TEXNIC® was showcased at the LG Energy Solution booth. In particular, TEXNIC®'s high-performance fiber products — made by recycling UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) battery separators — were featured prominently and drew significant attention.

Three types of goods made from TEXNIC® fabric: practical and sustainable products that serve as prime examples of how by-products from the battery industry can be transformed into everyday objects.

Uniform patches worn by event staff: more than simple symbols, these patches embodied the technological prowess and circular structure of the industry through thoughtful detail.

LG Energy Solution × EAST OKLM collaborative products: a collection that combined futuristic aesthetics with advanced technology, showcasing how TEXNIC® fabric can extend into the realms of fashion and sculptural design.

TEXNIC® is a brand that develops high-performance fiber materials by recycling battery separators, one of the four core components of batteries.
As such, global trends in the battery industry directly shape TEXNIC®’s material development and technological direction.

This exhibition was more than just an opportunity to showcase products — it was a chance to experience firsthand how advancements in battery technology might present both challenges and opportunities for TEXNIC® in the future.

At INTER BATTERY 2025, the technological innovations of each company were clearly on display. Leading Korean companies such as LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, SK On, and POSCO presented their latest technologies and products, vividly demonstrating the rapid evolution of the battery industry.
